Custom Vader Stencil !

A friend of mine commissioned me to make him a sweet vader stencil. Here is a little timeline of the process. It came out amazingly awesome. Theses pics are with a camera phone, I was too excited to grab a real camera, but here are the pics! I really love this piece! And so did he!

NERD OUT 2010!!!

I found some crazy star trek stuff at Bookman's the other day. I had just sold some artwork and had some money to pay bills. But I stumbled upon this Trek bounty and bye bye money! I couldnt buy all of them, I was sad to leave behind the model kits, I have never seen a Reliant model kit and I have always wanted to build a Klingon D7 kit. Boo Hoo. But I did get some amazing stuff. I got four micro machines vehicle sets from TOS, TNG, the movies, and also DS9. I got a Klingon Cruiser from TNG in its original box, with plastic wrapping still intact. Even the box was in mint condition! This one is staying in the box, its too nice to rip open. I also got a TNG phaser toy, in the box, with batteries included. The batteries are from 1993 and still work! The toy emits a phaser noise and the end lights up red. And the last thing I got is a badass golden Enterprise D! It too was in its original box. It has a bunch of different noises and the warp nacelles and deflector dish light up! Check out the pics!

BSG Finale

Before I gave it to it's rightful owner, I had to take one last pic of the viper. I was trying to capture the colors and how good it looked. I couldn't though, looks way better in person.

Colonial Viper Painting Progress

I started painting this BattleStar Galactica Colonial Viper tonight. Here is a little time line of the process. It's acrylic paints with with some inks. It was a lot of fun and I started to fall in love with it the more I neared the end. It's pretty awesome but there sure it a lot of angles on this ship!

Cardboard Scrap Paintings

I did some little paintings on some cardboard scraps that used to be a monster energy drink four pack. These are done in acrylic paints along with some ink for the details. There will be more of these on the way!

Star Wars Day?

I took a break from thinking about star trek to thinking about star wars. I did this Vader stencil. It measures 24X19" . It was fun to do, I had to start over at one point. The blue is a lot darker in person. Here is a little time line of the process. I had to go back and add some little details around the eyes. It is very true, the devil is in the details. The little things always make it pop.
